Spectrum is an experiential commodity to the podium playground. Returning to the core geometry, the form has evolved from a carved cylinder into a prism. The prism effect is experienced on the interior of the structure. While composed of aluminum hexagon tiles, light is to pass through the glass seams into the atrium within. This creates an artistic spectacle throughout the day, as the Earth orbits. The stair winds around the curved form to the main platform, at twenty-six feet. At this point the user has the opportunity to overlook the views of the playground. The traditional podium aspect is meant to serve the masses, returning to the full spectrum idea of creating a complete experience from both afar and within.
