Padded Terraces

The Padded Terraces is a podium and a pavilion. The podium stage is located on the top of the center core of the structure. Surrounding this core are several mini complexes that severe as in door and outdoor spaces. The tops of these complexes function as terrace and are cover with a soft circular padding. This padding highlights the terrace spaces around the podium. The padding is there to serve as seating during the time the podium is in use and during its off time. The textured padding is also found on some vertical sections of the podium, with the intent that an individual can lean against the pavilion. The padding was given a green color in order to complement the landscape and contract the pure white of the pavilion core.
